So, you have decided that you want to have a car in Ithaca after all? If you don't already have a car, or intend to leave your current car behind when you come to Ithaca, then this section is for you!

In addition, you will want to check out the classified ads in publications such as the Ithaca Journal (see section 4.10.3). Finally, you may want to check with the local car dealerships, which offer new and used cars for sale. Buying a car at a dealership is generally more costly, but you can obtain a warranty that will cover some of the subsequent repair costs, should they arise.
